Last night was a gong show!
4:30 was the Christmas Party at work, then people were giving away their rebels tickets since they wanted to party. So I took the tickets and went to the game with Kevin. Then I wanted to go drink some more so I invited Layla to drink with me at the party. We got there and everyone was just totally drunk. They all left before midnight except James. Layla, James, and I cleaned up and drank more. Then james left and we went to the strippers and came back, ate food, and I got a ride home with Layla and went thump into my bed. Good night. And now I have a free bottle of whiskey to take home and drink!

I like to think about the future, the past, and what I need to do to get where I want to be in the next few years. I am smart, for the most part, and I think that is how I am where I am today. I love my friends, my family, and especially everyone that has helped me become the person I am, and taught me all the things that I know. I like having a few best friends and lots of people I can talk to about basically anything. I love that I have the ability to change when I need to, and the ability to stay the same when it suits me better. I love that I am able to be open to everyone, yet isolate the things that I most need to keep to myself and keep locked in my heart. I am easy to talk to, easy to be with, and especially easy to have fun with, unless I am having one of those days. I love that I have little bursts of energy every once in a while, and I love that I can stay happy for long periods of time. I appreciate the good things in life, and I try to ignore the things that affect my happiness, even if it makes me depressed for a day or so. I am never catty towards anyone unless its payback. I love myself and what I stand for.

Winter

It's the first snowfalls of the year that remind me of the Holidays.

How I wish I could have a week with a fireplace, a big mug of cocoa, and a furry puppy.

Been in my apartment since Wednesday night.
Shopping, sleeping, TV, wine, and popcorn.
BUT I had to clean too which is upsetting since I thought the weekend would be relaxing in my giant apartment.
Instead, when I got there, everything was a mess and I felt like the entire apartment shrunk and it felt stressful just to be there. So I spent Wednesday night cleaning!
And then I looked in the fridge and there was sour turkey! Yucky!
But overall it was a relaxing weekend! I got to go to IKEA twice in 2 days :)
Dinner with the girls at 6. Then Sunday is workout and relax before going back to work for the week.

There is a song, a country song, where the singer sings about his love of water. It is such a cute song. It is called Water by Brad Paisley. Give it a whirl!
Worked out tonight. I love working out. Everytime I work out, I can feel my body rejoicing in its activity. My mood has been better since I've been working out regularly and my food intake is much more controlled when I work out. Instead of munching on chips in front of the tv, after I work out, I am drinking water or eating yogurt, or fruit cups. Much better than chips! Hehe.
Going to pumpkin fest on Saturday! Yay! I am excited to see some giant pumpkins! And to drive on the highway! I love the highway. I hope the trees are yellow and the wind is peacefully blowing around.
I got a chance to work out in the field the last two days, and we worked on a southern red deer county range road. The trip there consists of driving on narrow gravel roads surrounded by yellowing trees that lose their leaves as the wind blows! Sooo gorgeous! I feel the urge to just go driving out there but gravel roads sure scare me.

Just went for an hour and a half bike ride! It was soooo nice. I went to Heritage Ranch and almost to Bower Ponds but then it started getting dark so I started heading home. What a great ride. There were fish skipping in the fishing pond and it smelled like trees :)
Now my butt hurts and my back is sore, but sooo worth it :)

Today I spent the day working outside! It was nice but now my back is really sore. Massage time?

I was out with Thomas all day working, and I asked him about homosexuality and what he thought of it since he is a very religious Christian. This is his explanation to me, in a nutshell:
Basically everyone loves the important people in their life, but God has given us different ways of showing this love: like friendship, marriage, co-workers, etc. On the other hand, the devil has tried to do everything opposite of God, and in this case, making people express their love in a different way than God had wanted. For example, pre-marital sex where people show their affection more physically than they are meant to. For homosexuality, two men (or women) are showing their love as a relationship instead of friendship.

Seems strange to think of that way right? But he made sure to say that it wasn't that these homosexuals were going to hell or anything, but they were altered by the devil. He said he didn't believe people were born that way also.

I would tend to disagree obviously since I don't really believe in God and the devil. Anywho, thought I'd share!
