I'm walking to choir and the leaves are yellow.
There's plenty on the ground.
How I long for the autumn breeze but dread the winter's cold.
Music is the hum of the cars passing by. Leaves rustling as they blow in the wind.
Then silence.
The calm has arrived.
Pitter patter as my feet hit the cold sidewalk.
And all that's left are my thoughts.
